Award-winning solar PV installer and energy consultant, Campbell & Kennedy (C&K), is delighted to be taking part in YPO’s annual Know Watt Event on 26th April 2017 and will be delivering a presentation on Funding Options for Solar PV at Keepmoat Stadium in Doncaster. Adrian Waddington, Business Development Manager at C&K, will be sharing his wealth of knowledge and industry expertise to dispel any myths about financing energy projects in the public sector.
YPO are the country’s largest formally constituted public sector buying organisation, with a customer base including more than 30,000 schools, universities, local authorities and other non-profit making organisations. Their Know Watt event aims to bring suppliers and innovators from across the energy industry together with public sector decision makers. As the energy sector continues to grow and thrive at such a fast pace, the event is a great opportunity for public sector organisations to gain as much information on how they can be forward thinking in how they do business.
C&K successfully joined the YPO Dynamic Purchasing System for Low Carbon Electrical Micro-generation framework in 2015 and has been working with YPO to provide viable energy solutions to a range of public sector organisations.
On the day, Adrian will discuss a number of financially viable routes for organisations that wish to invest in generation technologies but don’t have the funds readily available – in particular Power Purchase Agreements.
Adrian said, “We’re looking forward to meeting the local authorities, housing associations and other organisations that use the framework and to building relationships with those organisations. There is often a lot of confusion surrounding finance options for solar PV. C&K offers an impartial view, working closely with our clients to develop a turnkey solution.”
