Award-winning solar PV installer, Campbell & Kennedy (C&K), has been appointed to a four-year Renewables and Energy Efficiency framework with Procurement for Housing (PfH) Scotland. The framework provides a number of energy efficiency solutions such as solar PV, biomass boilers and electricity storage systems through its pre-approved suppliers.
Campbell & Kennedy offers PfH Scotland members solar PV, solar thermal, LED lighting and smart meters in addition to many other energy-saving solutions. The family business was appointed to a similar framework last year with PfH for England and has since been helping members with a variety of procurement needs.
Launched in 2013, PfH Scotland is dedicated to working with landlords to enable them to continue delivering high quality services for their tenants and investing in the communities they serve. PfH Scotland has over 30 members including Housing Associations, Councils and local authorities. By harnessing the collective purchasing power of housing organisations, PfH can generate substantial savings for its members. Members are able to reinvest in front-line services, better homes and vibrant neighbourhoods due to the savings made through the reduction of procurement costs.
C&K will provide high quality service and installations combined with excellent returns for members. Since 2012, C&K projects have seen in excess of 11 megawatts of solar PV installed for a range of public sector clients over 20 years and will see a return of over £50 million made over the same time period.
Jason Lowey, Head of Energy at Campbell & Kennedy, said: “It is a great achievement for our solar division to be appointed a place on two regional Procurement for Housing frameworks.
“We look forward to working with the members of Procurement for Housing Scotland and sharing our knowledge and experience with housing professionals at PfH Live this June.”
C&K will be taking to the stand in Manchester at the UK’s leading social housing procurement event – PfH Live – and will be exhibiting at stand P53.
The three-day event is taking place at Manchester Central when masterclass seminars will be running, covering key topics and challenges facing the sector in addition to hundreds of exhibitors whose products and services can help social landlords to deliver smarter procurement.
