COMMUNAL TV AERIAL INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Scotland / Up to 21k per annum + vehicle

Responsibilities:

·         Working within a two man team you will carry out PPM (planned preventative maintenance) and Reactive maintenance tasks on communal TV antenna systems.

·         Carry out suitable and sufficient risk assessments in the line with company procedures prior to work being undertaken

·         Assist in the testing of antenna systems for the purposes of fault finding and subsequent rectification

·         Conduct visual inspections of antenna structures, fixings, feeder cables and anchor points

·         Carry out cable repairs including rewiring and termination

·         Assist the team leader in the preparation and input of site reports and photographs onto the company database

·         Comply with health, safety and environmental procedures at all times

Requirements:

The following is preferred although where applicable training will be provided:

·         Ability to climb and work safely at heights

·         Previous background of using specific fall-arrest systems

·         The ability to meet basic medical and fitness requirements

·         Engineering/maintenance background preferably within a similar role

·         Good communication  skills

·         Ability to work in small teams

·         Flexibility towards working hours

·         Good IT skills with the ability to use Microsoft software

·         Full clean driving licence

·         CSCS card

·         RDI trained

·         Suitable references

·         Clean CRB check

·         Ability to recognise business opportunities and report back sales leads
