Campbell & Kennedy was first established in 1953 by Tom Kennedy and Robert Campbell the company was initially set up to carry out domestic TV and Radio works. The company developed in the sixties and business took off with the storms of 1968 and never looked back. The present Directors are Gerry Kennedy MD and Stuart Leggat Technical Director, Gerry Ventilla Commercial Director, Len Ratcliffe Contracts Director, Den Cooke Customer Service Director, and Mairi Templeton Sales Director. The combination of Len’s solid practical experience of the industry and Stuart's technical background, together with Gerry Kennedy's professional background makes a formidable team, which will see the company drive towards a successful future in an ever-changing market. Over the last five years turnover and profitability has steadily increased and the company is committed to a controlled expansion program developing new areas of expertise and sustained growth. Gerry Kennedy is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor who joined when Tom Kennedy retired back in 1990. Gerry is now the firm’s Managing Director and in charge of a Contract Procurement together with Sales and Marketing. Gerry is also responsible for office administration and business planning and strategy.Stuart Leggat | Technical Director
Stuart Leggat joined the company in October 2002 as senior contracts/corporate services manager with over 20 years experience in the industry, of large system planning and is backed by Len Ratcliffe who joined the company in February 2007.Den Cooke | Director – Customer RelationsI joined Campbell & Kennedy on 6th October 2008. My drive for delivering exemplary customer service delivery is paramount as I truly believe that good customer service translates into good business and a healthy bottom line. I have held directorships with Pearson & TMC Solutions as well as Senior Managerial roles with several blue chip companies including Cendant (Travel 2), Keir Homes, EDS, Prudential and One 2 One to name but a few. I operate with the philosophy of encouraging leadership, sharing knowledge, taking ownership and continuous learning the ethos of which I look to incorporate into everything I am involved in. As an experienced Senior Manager with the drive for sales excellence I have introduced many operational initiatives that have greatly enhanced the customer experience and sales potentials. Supported with a purpose built sales team that fully understand our customer needs and requirements we are able to match the right products to the varying lifestyles of our customers. With a comprehensive understanding of the ambitions of Campbell & Kennedy as well as that of our strategic partners, such as Sky Homes, I am able to platform the sales operations to holistically combine the objectives and outcomes of all key stakeholders. Campbell and Kennedy are an ethically underpinned, people focused, success driven and ambitious company which is in tune with my own personal philosophies and key drivers.EngineersCampbell & Kennedy has a team of 35 engineers and a fleet of 20 vans. All enginners are capable of carrying out domestic tv aerial and sky installs through to high end IRS and commercial installations. |
