Satellite Installation
 In the Satellite section of the site you will find information about services like Sky TV, Sky +, Freesat and many more. These satellite installation services are all available within this area. You can get Satellite TV channels, like Sky One, BBC HD services ITV HD and a huge variation of digital radio stations. What's more, you can book a satellite installation for any room of your house.
Satellite installation services are for all of the packages which rely on a satellite dish to be received.
How does satellite work? A satellite system is made up of a satellite which orbits the Earth transmitting a data signal and receivers/satellite dishes which pick up the signal and convert it into something useful like a TV picture or sound. This allows a transmission to be broadcast at high quality across large distances.
Aerial Installation
Aerial installation includes services such as digital aerial installation, Freeview and specialist aerial installations. In the Aerials section of our site you will find products and services which rely on ground based transmitters which broadcast TV and Radio signals.
How does an aerial work? An Aerial system is made up of a receiver or aerial which receives a signal from a transmitter. This is then directed to your TV or Radio which outputs the content.
Digital Switchover
If you are receiving your existing signal from an aerial, then you will be affected by the Digital Switchover. With digital, television signals can be received from an aerial, satellite, cable or broadband connection.
How will this affect me? If you use an aerial, it will receive its signal from a transmitter. There are more than 1,150 transmitters in the UK, the network of transmitters are organised into about 80 groups. A group is made up of a main switchover transmitter and local relay transmitters. They will be switched over to digital one by one, so you will need to convert your television before the digital switchover date. You can find out more on our Digital Switchover information page.
