We are delighted to announce that we have been nominated for the Best Use of Training award at the SELECT Awards 2016.
The SELECT Awards, organised by CABLEtalk magazine, are dedicated to recognising excellence in the industry, with categories covering a wide range of disciplines. SELECT, Scotland’s trade association for the electrical industry, has helped bring the industry’s strong and deserved reputation for safety, excellence and high quality to the fore.
We have been recognised for best use of training and have illustrated our commitment to offer a wide range of diverse training opportunities which are available to all staff members across the entire company.
Training has been at the forefront of everything that we do. Our in-house training facility helps provide opportunities for professional development to our workforce and partner organisations.
As well as creating employment opportunities for apprentices, we have offered work experience placements for school pupils and students and have brought on apprentices, trainees and graduates which has been a vital part of our recent success.
Our team has a proud history at the SELECT Awards. Last year we won the award for Best Environmental Project and in 2014 picked up the prestigious Electrical Contractor of the Year award as well as the prize for Best Customer Service.
Gerry Kennedy, Managing Director at Campbell & Kennedy, said: “To be nominated for the SELECT Awards once again is testament to the hard work and commitment that our team has put in so the company can continue to grow and develop.
“Training is the foundation that C&K is built upon and we are committed to investing in the development of our staff.
“We look forward to what is sure to be a fantastic night.”
The awards ceremony will take place on Friday 14th October at the Glasgow Radisson Hotel.
